Elias Shebar has been practicing law since 2017 and is admitted to the state bars of New York, Illinois, and Vermont (inactive), as well as the federal district court of the Northern District of New York. He is authorized to practice law before the federal agencies and courts that adjudicate immigration cases.  He has litigated contractual and consumer protection disputes, civil rights cases, and immigration cases, among others, and views compassion and sensitivity to clients’ needs as equally important to securing successful outcomes.
He is a 2016 graduate of Cardozo Law School, where he was a Dean’s Public Service Scholar, notes editor of a law review journal, and competitively selected to work as a student attorney in a clinic that focused on federal civil rights litigation. He received his 40-hour mediation certificate from Northwestern University in 2021. He teaches the bar exam, tutors English and social science, writes about varied topics, and plays music when he is not advocating for his clients.
